Toasters Club is a Toastmasters club that meets every Thursday morning at 7:00am except for
holidays and bad weather days when LISD cancels or delays school for the
day.
We meet at the The Wells (3651 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79410). Visitors are always welcome at our meetings. You don’t need to bring a
thing, just show up. And yes … it’s early. So feel free to bring your
coffee.
Humor is an important aspect in Toasters. We like to laugh and have a
good time, which makes for a great start to a Thursday morning. So
grab your coffee and come to a meeting ready to have a good time. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and hopefully you’ll want to come back again.
I recently started listening to Speak with Impact by Allison Shapira, and she mentions Toastmasters quite a bit. I looked it up and saw that there is a local club. Is this still active? Are there still meetings hosted there on Thursday mornings? Thank you! Rosa.
