It was poetry day at Toasters today.
And Gary only likes the ones that rhyme.
Good thing we only had one speaker,
'Cause he went over time.

Toasters Turns 25

In May, Toasters Club will celebrate its 25th anniversary as a Toastmasters club. Come out and join us as we keep popping up early every Thursday morning!

JFK & Eggs

What do JFK and eggs have in common?  Well, pretty much nothing.  However, they were both engaging topics during our meeting this morning.

Alcatraz, Hawaii, and Crystal Insects

Toasters' newest member, Crystal, broke the ice with her first speech today while covering topics as far flung as Alcatraz, Hawaii, and (coincidentally enough) a tiny crystal roach.

Crystal also hinted at other topics she might be  covering in the future, including more information about her husband, who might or might not be from outer space. :)

Newly elected club President Uwe Beltz has put on his tool belt and is prepared to get to work for the coming year.

Hail to the Chief

New club president Keith Waters took the reins today and opened the club meeting. He replaces outgoing president Jan d'Orsay who led the club to its first Distinguished Club status in several years. Hopefully Keith and his rockin' hair-do will be as successful!

A Very Toasty Christmas

If you missed our Christmas party, you missed out on a lot of fun. We had a great white elephant gift exchange. Jan brings the best stuff. Or maybe it's the worst stuff. No, it's definitely both! :)

And Kyle gave a very poignant toast to Michael and his fiancee Hannah.
